12 stationery designers I love

I’ve always loved stationery, so enjoy nothing more than working to find the perfect fit for an event, whether that be invites, place names, menus or welcome signage. The possibilities really are endless now with semi custom and fully bespoke options, so whatever the occasion, you can find or create something that reflects you, whatever your theme or aesthetic.

I’m often coming across new favourite designers but here are 12 of my favourite stationery designers at the moment.

Images by Paper Stories co

The first thing that jumped out to me about Paper Stories CO is Beth’s use of not only colour but also shape. Her semi bespoke arched range is so stylish, with it’s mix of gorgeous fonts and I just love her bespoke work - my favourite being this one, with the most incredible mix of ‘wiggles’ and clashing pinks and purple, just dreamy!

I’ve been a big fan of Frankie’s work for a long time - her gorgeous calligraphy style is one of my all time favourites. Her range of on the day signage is exquisite, with options for welcome signage, unplugged ceremonies, table place numbers and so much more, all available on a mix of materials too. The reels of her working on Instagram are mesmerising to watch too!

Images by State of Elliott

Whether you’re looking for a classic colour combo or something to stand out more, State of Elliott does it all - very well! Their range of design collections is amazing from the beautifully stylish and contemporary Hello Lover, and the mix of bold and organic fonts in Perfect Pair to the fabulous bold and bright Stardust, everything is just a feast for the eyes!

What drew first to Lisa’s work at Paper Knots, is her lovely minimalist Linnea range, it’s just stunning. Not only does she have a really varied set of house collections but her custom work is so exciting too - anything with a tassel or some elegant silk ribbon and I’m sold.

Place names, invites and wedding signage

Another one of my calligraphy favourites, is Millie. I’ll never forget how kind she was to help me out when I was first starting out and you’ll see her gorgeous work peppered across our website. Her range is just amazing - in particular I love her place card options, the possibilities are just endless.

Curved, arched and scallop invites

You might have started to notice that I’m a bit of a font fan and the options with Polka Dot Paper are just amazing. Not only that but their use of shape (and how they use them together) are just beautiful. From arches, to ovals, edges and scallops, they’re just dreamy.

Images by Nat’s Paper Studio

I love Nat’s clean and elegant style, her Classic Monochrome house collection is one of my favourites but I also love her Special Touches. From her beautiful range of invite wrapping to gorgeous ways to upgrade your envelopes, they make the most stunning creations - who wouldn’t want to have one of her invites pop through your letterbox!

Images by Gloam

Now I should start by saying that Gloam do so much more than just wedding and event stationary (I’m in love with their instagram!) but their stationary is to die for. From their gorgeous 5 house collections to their range of bespoke work, I love the mix of classic and sophisticated ranges, alongside their colourful and modern work.

Brightly coloured and neutral invites

Images by Carta Plena

The first thing that drew me to Carta Plena was their use of colour - the Gianni suite, as they say is just ‘the right match for fashionable weddings’. But then as I looked at more of their bespoke work too, I then fell in love with their chic use of neutrals, just so chic, I’m in love!

Images by White Cottage Weddings

I’m a big fan of a bit of texture and White Cottage weddings, massively tick this box for me. I’ve long been a fan of the save the date in their Stapleford collection (the embossing is just irresistible) and their Harvest collection too is a heavenly mix - a perfect feast for the eyes and the fingertips!

Maple and Rae’s work just makes my heart happy. Dani’s use of colour, font and shape is just so exciting. From stunning signage to gorgeous invites and beautiful table items, the possibilities are just so exciting, making them the perfect addition to a modern and creative wedding.

Paper Grace’s wide range of house collections are so stylish. With a mix of contemporary shapes and stunning colour palettes, everything is so dreamy. I’m a sucker for an arch, so are a big fan of the Arched Mocha and Half Arch collections but the Bold note and Scalloped Edge are knockouts too.
